Hedcor breaks ground on 19-MW Bineng Hydro

Hedcor, AboitizPower’s subsidiary that operates and manages run-of-river hydropower plants all over the Philippines, broke ground for its 19-megawatt (MW) Bineng Combination Hydro project in La Trinidad, Benguet, sustaining the said municipality’s story as a hydropower host community.

SURSECO 1 chooses AboitizPower’s Cleanergy

In an effort to push for a more balanced energy supply portfolio, Surigao del Sur 1 Electric Cooperative, Inc. (SURSECO 1) recently signed an agreement with AboitizPower subsidiary, Hedcor Bukidnon, for 2 megawatts (MW) of clean and renewable energy supply for its customers in 2018.

Protecting the mighty Talomo River

With millions of lives dependent on Talomo River, Hedcor took on the responsibility of making sure its 4-kilometer upstream portion continues to thrive, further strengthening ties with DENR’s Adopt-A-River Program. The company has also adopted a 31-kilometer stretch of Sibulan River in Davao del Sur in 2013.
