KINDer raises almost Php1M in one day

KINDer, Aboitiz Foundation’s crowdfunding website, gathered almost half a million pesos or Php466,599 during its “12.12 Double Your Kindness Day” fundraiser. This amount was matched by the Foundation, bringing the total amount raised to nearly one million pesos to fund various development projects.

Aboitiz launches sustainable livelihood programs in Marawi

The Aboitiz Group launched a number of sustainable livelihood programs to help Maranaos start anew, one year after Marawi City’s liberation from the armed siege. Dubbed “Kawiyagan: Biyaya ng Pagbabago”, the program is a series of sustainable livelihood initiatives for the residents of Sagonsongan Resettlement Site, which temporarily houses thousands of displaced families. It complements the government’s efforts to help the once bustling capital of Lanao Del Sur get back on its feet.

AboitizPower subsidiary helps nourish schoolkids

In the next four months, AboitizPower subsidiary Therma Visayas Inc. (TVI) will work hand in hand with the Aboitiz Foundation Inc. (AFI) and Pilmico to provide high energy biscuits to these schoolchildren, with the main objective of being able to give nourishment not only to the body, but also to the mind.

From noble warriors to noble bakers

Sgt. Eric Ubalde was chosen as one of the beneficiaries of the Noble Bakers Project of the Aboitiz Foundation in partnership with the SOCOM Foundation, under which he, along with 59 other wounded soldiers, underwent a comprehensive bakery management training program provided by Pilmico Foods Corporation.

Empowering Filipino families through sustainable livelihood

Under CARD’s Adopt-a-Branch Program, the Aboitiz Foundation has been helping microfinance units in Tiwi, Calinan, and La Trinidad, benefitting the branches’ 2,846 members. The story of Elizabeth Cuya and how she succeeded in providing for her family’s needs is a shining example of the fruits of the Foundation and CARD’s partnership.

Hedcor conducts healthcare missions in 3 provinces

Hedcor’s effort of delivering free medical services to the communities was made possible with support from the local government units, municipal and barangay health workers, Bethesda Optical Clinic, Emergency Medical Services-Baguio Chapter, Ilocos Sur Medical Society, Philippine Dental Association-Benguet and Vigan Chapters, Police Dental Team of Camp Bado Dangwa, Philippine Nurses Association-Ilocos Sur Chapter and the Rotary Club- Baguio and Vigan Chapters.
