Aboitiz joins campaign to redeem the Boracay wetlands

The Aboitiz Group is giving the government’s ongoing rehabilitation of Boracay an added boost by partnering with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR). On August 13, 2018, both parties signed a memorandum of agreement under which Aboitiz will adopt and revive Wetland 4, one of nine wetlands scattered across the island.

Growing the ‘great wall of mangroves’

VECO plants 2,500 coffee seedlings

About 120 Visayan Electric Company (VECO) employees and their family members trooped last September 17 to the uplands of Cebu City to plant some 2,500 coffee seedlings under this year’s joint tree planting activity of Veco and the Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP).
